Vabvuwi

Vabvuwi, the Men’s Union of the Diocese of Manicaland, is a brotherhood of Christian men committed to faith, service, and leadership within the Church and community. Rooted in Anglican values and inspired by the call to be spiritual heads of their homes and active servants in the Church, Vabvuwi empowers men to grow in their relationship with God while promoting strong, God-fearing families and communities.

The union focuses on spiritual formation, mentorship, and practical outreach. Regular fellowship gatherings, Bible studies, men’s conferences, and skills development programs are at the heart of our activities. Through these, we strengthen the spiritual life of our members, equip them to be responsible husbands and fathers, and encourage them to lead by example in both word and deed.

In a world that often challenges traditional roles and values, Vabvuwi offers a space for men to stand firm in faith, support one another, and serve the Church faithfully. Our members are involved in mission work, community upliftment, and assisting the vulnerable—including widows, orphans, and the elderly. We believe that when men are grounded in Christ, families flourish, and communities are transformed.

We warmly welcome all men in the Diocese of Manicaland to become part of Vabvuwi—a movement of faith, action, and unity where men are built up to be strong pillars in the Church and society.
