The Mother’s Union of the Diocese of Manicaland is a vibrant fellowship of women committed to prayer, service, and the strengthening of Christian family life. Rooted in the Anglican tradition and inspired by the example of Mary, the mother of Jesus, we seek to support women in their spiritual growth, empower them in their roles as mothers and caregivers, and promote the values of love, faith, and community.
Our work includes Bible study gatherings, skills development workshops, family enrichment programs, and outreach to the vulnerable and marginalized. Through these initiatives, we nurture strong Christian homes, encourage responsible parenting, and equip women to be leaders both in the Church and in their communities. The Mother’s Union is also deeply involved in charitable works, offering care and support to widows, orphans, and those facing hardship.
In a time of social and economic challenges, the Mother’s Union stands as a pillar of faith and resilience—uplifting families through prayer, advocacy, and action. We work hand in hand with clergy, parishes, and diocesan leadership to promote peace, unity, and the dignity of every person, especially women and children.
We warmly invite all women in the Diocese of Manicaland to join the Mother’s Union—to grow in faith, strengthen families, and serve God’s people with compassion and grace.
